About six hundred years ago, Briarwood and the Feradrim Wood, were part of the Prima Archbora. Like the Archbora, Briarwood retains much of the primeval magic of living things that is said to have saturated the forests of Crucible in ages past.
But here that magic has run wild, and stories say that the forest itself hates all intelligent life. They say the brambles are always damp with the blood of those who have become lost in it’s thickets, never to find their way out. The legends may exaggerate, but it is a fact that even the elves don’t tread into the heart of Briarwood.
